Description
The cans which arrives at random are passed through a screw feeder which conveys them to the closing machine equally spaced. If a filling machine is installed upstream of the closing machine, the cans are fed equally spaced by an synchronized dog chain or a feed screw with adequate pitch which prevents spilling of product. The electro-pneumatic "No can - No lid" device prevents the release of an lid, if no can is in position. The from the single screw feeder separated lid is positively conveyed on the lid/can turret to the closing station. The double seam will be formed through an seaming roll for the first and another seaming roll for the second operation, while the seaming process the cans are rotated by the seaming heads and driven lifters. A discharge turret removed the closed cans from the closing machine. Several safety devices are provided to Stop the machine in case of trouble.

Equipment
The seamers are completely designed in stainless steel or corrosion proved materials. The machine frame exists from screwed stainless steel plates, which correspondence to the latest hygienic standards.
To be able in producing safe double seams, on the continuously getting thinner and hardener metal sheets (DR = Double Reduced sheets), the machines of the model "LW 600" are equipped with the possibility to adjust the circumference speed of the cans while the seaming process independly from the speed of the seaming rotor (machine speed).
